Twelve boys. One summer. Cooperstown bound.
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam — for us, it means more than baseball. It means playing for something bigger than yourself, becoming better teammates, and becoming better people.
AMDG Team Vargas is a Phoenix-based youth baseball team built on the belief that the game should shape more than the player.
We expect our boys to compete hard, take care of each other, respond to adversity, and show respect in the way they play and the way they live.
Through every practice, tournament, win, and setback, they’re learning what it means to be accountable, lead, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
There are a lot of tournaments in youth baseball, but Cooperstown is different.
In summer 2027, AMDG Team Vargas will head to Cooperstown, New York, for a week of baseball alongside teams from across the country.
For these boys, it's more than another tournament. It's a chance to celebrate years of practices, friendships, hard-fought games, and everything they've experienced together.
One week. One team. A lifetime of memories.
From tournament weekends to community events, there’s a lot happening between now and Cooperstown.
